T. Divina Rodriguez was born in Asuncion, Paraguay and immigrated to Greenwich, CT when she was five years old. Growing up, Divina always wanted to be U.S. ambassador and represent the United States in an exotic and sunny location. Today, she is a Marketing professional with nearly a decade of experience in a top aerospace corporation as well as a wife and mother of 2 boys under the age of five. She is a graduate of University of Connecticut and Fairfield University with a Masters in Communications. Divina is a Partner with Trumpeting Media a leading Social Media brand management company that uses the power of social media for Social good. She is co-founder and editor of www.dancinghotdogs.com an entertainment and family lifestyle blog. She is a Brand Ambassador, a Social Media consultant and has been featured as an expert panelist in leading national conferences.

Niche Mommy (NM): What influenced you to start blogging and why?
Divina Rodriguez(DR): I graduated from a Masters program and after publishing my Thesis I wanted a space to keep writing and connecting with people. My husband Eddy and I LOVE movies so a fun hobby to do together.
NM: If they made a movie of your blog, which actress would you want to play you?
DR: Hmm younger Sofia Vergara with no accent.
NM: What on your resume are you most proud of?
DR: I am so proud to have graduated with a Masters in Communications while being seven months pregnant and working full time in a corporation. I want to instill that love of learning and commitment in my sons.
NM: How do you spend your free time?
DR: I love traveling with wonderful husband, my 4 year old son and 1 year old son. I love opening up our lives to new ideas, cultures and adventures.
NM: What do you think is your biggest hurdle?
DR: Finding the time and balance to be a dedicated Mami, wife and successful entrepreneur.
NM: What’s on your bucket list for 2012?
DR: I want to be in London for the 2012 Summer Olympics.
